![]() The game occurs exclusively within the dungeon’s limited confines, with the only “safe” locations on the first floor. Each level of the dungeon contains more tough foes and higher prizes. The ultimate boss can only be slain using magic, motivating players to develop a well-rounded character. Skills and stats improve with use, and things can be purchased or found that boost specific stats when used (for example, green Verdite stones enable magic). Weapons and magic are allocated to separate buttons so the player can readily attack with both, yet, recharging action bars for each restrict the player from rapidly spamming assaults. The player gathers coins and goods from vanquished monsters and can buy weapons and spells from two shops within the dungeon. The entire world is represented with 3D textured polygons, including objects, adversaries, and the player’s equipment. The adventure follows John Alfred Forester through a five-level dungeon filled with friendly NPCs, hazardous traps, and monsters. When King’s Field II was eventually released in the West, it was called King’s Field. It was launched in Japan some weeks after the PlayStation was released, and it was never localized or distributed worldwide. The original King’s Field is the first game in the first-person fantasy RPG King’s Field series, and it was one of the first fully polygonal 3D games. His son, John Alfred, descended into the graveyard, determined to learn what had happened and whether there was still time to save his father. He has not returned, nor has anyone else who accompanied him. This brave guy set out to battle the terrifying beasts that surfaced within the Royal Cemetery. Zoela Reinhardt, a distant descendent of the cursed bloodline, married Houser Forester, captain of the king’s guards. Its royal dynasty began practicing black magic, guided by demonic spirits beneath the country’s surface. Verdite’s country has fallen into disrepair.

In the aftermath of the war, the Alliance began fracturing and some of its members seceded from the Alliance. Following the Alliance victory at the Dark Portal, King Magni Bronzebeard would appoint his younger brother Muradin as ambassador to Lordaeron. The Bleeding Hollow would eventually be defeated by the Alliance of Lordaeron and with Ironforge freed, the inhabitants joined the Alliance. Each time a dwarven citadel fell, the survivors fled to Ironforge, and by the end of the conflict the whole of the dwarf nation lurked within the city, awaiting a chance for revenge. Even with the loss of all of their other strongholds, Ironforge remained standing, despite Kilrogg's best efforts. While the rest of the Horde moved north Kilrogg Deadeye and his Bleeding Hollow clan remained within the region, which saw the orcs and dwarves clash for many months. Khaz Modan would soon after come under attack by the Horde, which would cause the destruction of many dwarven strongholds. Prior to the start of the Second War Ironforge had received missives from King Terenas of Lordaeron warning them of the orcs' arrival. The humans and dwarves shared many secrets of metal-smithing and engineering and discovered a common love for battle and storytelling. It was during this period that humans first met the ancient race of dwarves and traveled to their cavernous subterranean city of Ironforge. ![]() Gilneas and Alterac, strong supporters of Strom and the Arathor Empire, had developed mighty armies that explored the mountainous southern lands of Khaz Modan. They encountered the humans, perhaps their most important allies, around 1800 years before the First War and at the same time the high elves as the elves and humans were already allies. The later attempt to seize Ironforge by the Dark Irons was repelled by the Bronzebeards and Wildhammer together, but even as Grim Batol, the home of the Wildhammers, was now uninhabitable, they declined the offer to return to Ironforge. The Bronzebeards emerged victorious due to owning the largest, best-equipped army, and banished the other clans from Ironforge, which founded their own kingdoms. After the death of Modimus Anvilmar, the tensions between the clans erupted in a civil war, called the War of the Three Hammers. In former times, the Kingdom, led by the Anvilmar family, ruled over the three big dwarven clans Bronzebeard, Wildhammer, and Dark Iron clan. The dwarven kingdom was founded after the awakened dwarves ventured out from the ancient city of Uldaman. ![]() Being a senatorial monarchy, it is now reigned by the Council of Three Hammers, composed of one member from each major dwarven clan, until the heir Dagran Thaurissan II is old enough. The Kingdom of Ironforge (also known as the Kingdom of Khaz Modan, or simply Ironforge ) is the major government of the dwarves on the continent of Khaz Modan.
